Which is Right for You Online School or College Campus?

So today guys I was hanging with some friends. And we were reflecting on our old school days, just sharing stories and stuff. Who dated who, who played what sports, what we went to school for, and where that led each of us. Everyone had different experiences. The biggest difference that we got was from the people who went to school online and the people who stayed on campus. The conversation was so good I had to come share it with you guys. I also feel like it will be some helpful information to come for this post too. The topic that came from this conversation was, which was better? Online school or being on campus. We will be discussing the pros and cons of both sides my friends.

Pros Online

  Let’s start with online school and the pros of it. The first pro that I liked was that in some cases its cheaper. Another one is the convenience of online classes. You don’t have to pack up all your belongings and carry them across the world. You can get up shower, brush your teeth, grab some food, and start your class right in the comfort of your home. All you really need is some Wi-Fi and you can have class wherever you please my friends. And the flexibility that some schools offer is amazing my friends. They really do they best to make you comfortable with when you take your classes.

There are a few sayings in my life I like to use to motivate me when times get hard. I’ll share a few with you guys because we family. “Do it right and you can live your whole summer off”. Also “slow motion is better than no motion “. These are just two of my favorite sayings. Where am I going with this you ask? I’ll tell you, to the money! How to get there is what I’ll be sharing with you today. This what I think the key to moving up in the financial world today.

  We’re going to start with the foundation for a good living and that for the average person looking to be more than average. In my opinion that’s being knowledgeable in a demanding field. Being knowledgeable in a demanding field is almost priceless. People who can’t do teach. So, if you have the knowledge but not the means to do something. You just find someone with the means looking for knowledge and match made in heaven.

  To gather this knowledge that people are willing to pay for you most put in the hours of learning. Because that’s what people are paying for, the hours you put in learning. All the hours you put in at a desk or should I say a desktop now days. Online schooling seems to be the way to go now days. Online learning seems to be great because it gives you the chance to achieve goals on your own time. And at home, in your place of comfort. What more can you ask for. Let’s talk about some good online learning opportunities. Online business degree programs accredited, online accredited psychology degree, and online degree in educational psychology. Those are just some online learning opportunities for you in the future we’ll add to the opportunities of online learning.

  There you have it, my opinion on an important key in life to get ahead. Online learning does take hours but it’s very well worth it. As always do your own research my friends and come to your own conclusions.

Cons Online

  Now let’s talk about what I see as some of the cons with online classes. If you’re a young adult who just walked a crossed the stage. You are looking forward to seeing the world and being out there on your own. Getting from up under your parents. Getting a feel of what it’s like to being an adult. And it gives you a good chance to work on your social skills more.  That’s really the only cons I see my friends. You do get some social interaction with online but face to face is different my friends. To me anyway.

College Campus Pros

  Now let’s go over the pros of the college life. Again, it gives you that chance to work on your social skills. Let’s you see what the world will be looking for from you. Like being accountable, being on time, responsibility, and how your handle people. You can really build some important relationships in college that can last a lifetime.

College Campus Cons

  The cons is what we have up next. That price tag is crazy. And there is a chance you could be coming out of college not even working in the field that you went to school for. some people are working jobs that doesn’t even need a college degree, just to start paying on them students’ loans.

Bonus

Have you ever been day dreaming or reminiscing about where you might be in life if you knew, what you know now. It’s like that one question everyone ask themselves. If you could tell the younger self three things, what would it be? I know it’s hard to narrow it down to 3. With all the failed relationships, wasted money, opportunities you let pass you by, or maybe you wish you tried something you were afraid of because of what people might of thought.lets take it back to the basics, where would a lot of people be if schools included some real future changing knowledge. I think there are 3 things that schools should put more of emphasis on.

  The first one is more of a two in one because I feel they go hand and hand. They are saving money and working on your credit. Both these things are really things that if you start young the better off you’ll be. Imagine if you had focused on a working a small job, while saving part of it, or saving your allowance while you were young.even better what if you were taught how to use credit at a young age. You could of had a lot things you wanted and paid it off later. All while bringing up your credit score. You might of graduated with a 725 credit score. Just think about that for a minute.

This one they had back in our great grandparents days of school. What if they put more of a emphasis on tradesmen work. Better yet what if the just brought tradesmen classes back. This would give kids legit backup plan after the graduate. This would be something great to leave schools with. Being able to always make money without having a job. You’ll always be able to find work fixing cars, fixing up a house, and plumbing work. This way kids have no excuse to be out here doing anything bad to make money unless that’s what they really want to do.

  Last thing on this list is, everyone should graduate with the knowledge of putting together a business plan. You should have a business at graduation even. Having a game plan to work from is always a great start. And if you really feel strongly about your business idea, you can put it to use. Get to college farther your education and go get that business loan.

  Now my friends imagine doing all of these things when you graduate from high school. You have a great credit score / money saved, a trade, and a business plan. That’s how we should all start adulthood. If schools do this today it could really change the future. More independence, more jobs, and more money to go around my friends. These are just the things I feel school should put more of an emphasis on to give kids a better start to feel financially. Just an idea my friends.

Summary

  So, to summarize which is better my friends. I guess it comes down to the individual and what’s important to them at the time. If you’re a young person. You’ll probably want to experience that college life as soon as possible. If you someone who been to college and dropped out or never went after high school. And start life right away. Had a family and job after years from high school. Online school might be better for you. That’s my take on it guys. Do your own research and think about where you are in life.
